Huron Perth Cross Country
What a great day. The weather cooperated for the most part. CHSS Redmen were great representatives of the school. We had several top 10 finishes and all the races we were able to enter teams in will be advancing to WOSSA.
Congratulations to the Senior Boys, after several years of finishing 4th, the team put together some great races to finsh in 3rd place. The team was lead by Micheal Park with an 8th place finish followed closely by Adam Cronin and Matt Chlamers, the 4th runner needed to complete the team score was David Bolton. Congrats boys:)
The Junior Boys finished 2nd as a team, behind a very strong St.Mikes team. Curtis Taylor was the lead runner finishing in 5th place, Jaden Goetz, Jacob McDougall and Paul Doig completed to the overall team score.
Our Midget boys were a small group today, with a couple of runners down with the flu. However, Blake Evans and William Ringgenberg were both able to advance to WOSSA as individuals.
Our highest finisher of the day was Jordan Murray in the midget girls race finishing 2nd, leading the midget girls team to a 2nd place finish. Leandra Keller, Melissa Glanville and Kelsey King alll had very strong races.
Lexi Cook and Megan Cardno are very comfortable with a small group at the start line. Lexi finished a good race despite feeling under the weather.
Nicole McIntosh, our lone Senior girl runner, finished a strong 13th advancing to WOSSA.
Congrats to all runners, pictures will be coming soon.

On October 1st the team travelled to Springbank Park, the weather was great considering the rain over the preveious few days. Once again the Redmen showed they could compete with London and area's best. The Midget girls ran very well with Leandra being the first runner finishing in 27th place. The midget boys stuck pretty close together for mot of their race with Blake and William finishing in 37 and 38 th place. Senior girls had the luxury of running the "great hill" twice, Nicole had a great race finishing 40 of 191 runners. Our highlight of the day came in during the Junior Boys race, Curtis Taylor, after training all summer had his first top 10 finish. He completed the 6km course in 21:11, finishing 9th. Junior girl with Lexi and Megan both having great races, lexi finihing in 33rd spot. Micheal Park had a great race in the Senior boy division finishing in 20th spot of 171 runners, finishing the 7km course with a time of 23:30.
